Our extensive volunteer program is a valuable support system for our mission. We welcome people every year to join in our conservation effort and to learn from our outreach.
Volunteer and Service Projects consist of coastal, shoreline and/or park clean-ups, caring for plants and trees, restoration of the beauty of the park, trash pick up/ debris collection, graffiti removal, weeding, raking, cleaning picnic tables and benches, mulching trees/shrubs, reporting vandalism, assist in the elimination of alien flora and re-introduction of native plants.
We try to ensure all of our volunteers leave knowing something more about their connection to the 'aina and each other.
Whatever your age, interest, and availability, we have something for everyone.

Help support the ongoing efforts of Basic Image and our specific conservation and outreach efforts by making a tax-deductible contribution. Your donation helps support the efforts of a dedicated team of volunteers working to preserve Hawaii's heritage and natural resources for our keiki and future generations.

- Teach at the Beach: Living Classroom which provides direct experiences "learn-by-doing" classes using our environment, cultural and natural resources.
- Pakalove Crew Youth Leadership Program an investment in the future of Hawai'i through character and cultural education of developing youth as community leaders.
- Responsible Tourism "Don't Change Hawai'i, Let Hawai'i Change You" - this movement offers the opportunity for visitors to combine their travel with volunteer activities that integrates traditional Hawaiian values and pono practices.
- Partnerships and Outreach to amplify our message and impact, Basic Image shares information on stewardship and sustainability with a wide range of audiences.
